Friday Caucus Reports

This past Friday was a true American testament to democracy in action -- and the power of the people. Around the nation people met in small (and large) groups and deliberated the important issues facing the nation as we choose our next president.

The NPC was previewed by major media from CBS News, The Washington Post and The New York Times, to name a few. And, the events were a great success for those who participated. A sampling:

Kansas City: "Wow, what a great evening it was in Kansas City!"

New Jersey: "It was a fun night with close to 200 people participating in this exercise."

Chicago: "It was a very informative experience."

Boise, Idaho: "It was an extremely fun event..."

Caucuses also received a fair amount of local attention from the mainstream media, including *front page* coverage in Greensboro, NC and TV coverage by WNBC news in NY, the largest NBC affiliate in the nation.

About the caucus's. Can't say any of the canidates are worthy. That's easy to say. Until someone can unite this country and it's people, by crossing all nationalities, races, religions, and income levels.
How? start working for American's First. How? Pay attention to it's tax paying citizens by addressing issues that affect the majority. Affordable medical care for all. Education that is equal for all. Only through a strong domestic economy can we fund programs. Quit pork barrel spending. Quit spending billions on an unjustified illegal war. What, we can spend billions on war, but not take care of our own people?? The US no longer has the economic might due to global economy. Thus, it can no longer fund wars. Are we to become a military industrial complex like what the USSR was and look what happened to it.
Neither Democrat or Republican President will address issues that affect the majority, it is the Congress and Senate that pass bills. And whichever party manages to get a bill passed, if the President chooses to veto it, the bill is resubmitted as watered down if at all. Its time for a new party president.
Did my representatives ask me about entering the war? No! Did they ask you? Funding the war without asking the people? Is that like taxation without representation. That includes pork barrel spending. Taxation without representation. Gee, isn't that what we fought a war for
200+ years ago for??
BUT PEOPLE WOULD RATHER VOTE BECAUSE THEY WANT TO BE ON THE "WINNING" SIDE.
